Project 4 Exquisite Corpse - Partners: Kay & Minghui

Description

Her name is Kelly, or at least she thinks her name is Kelly. Kelly 's head and feet are cut and switch to other two figures. If Kelly doesn't have her original head, how could she know her real name? Is she Kelly?

Design Process

I gathered figures from my partners. Kelly's head is from Kay's drawing (that's probably why she thinks her name is kelly). Kelly's feet are from Minghui's drawing.

I create a function for the fur. By putting in different x and y value and the color value, you will get a pinch of fur. It will be very fast to get the furry effect if I know how to write for loop or while loop. Actually, I tried but p5 stop responding after I run the code.

I also used mouseInPressed which I think easier to handle in certain conditions than mousePressed(). Kelly blinks when you press the mouse.

Character stories:

Kay(head): She is an angrey girl that looks for a peaceful mind

Minghui(feet): In the first assignment of the semester ‘Lost and Found’, I introduced my little Snoopy to my partner, who spent the whole childhood with me. Right now, I have a Jellycat panda doll, which reminds me from time to time of the Snoopy I accompanied as a child. So for this assignment, the sketch I draw is the combination of the childhood Snoopy and the present panda, because they play a similar role in my life, which bring me happiness and good memories.

Reflection

1.Define my own function.

2.Apply mouseIsPressed in my code.

3.Gain a better understanding on PI, because of the heavily use of rotate().

4.Try to use for loop and while loop, even I failed.
